Terms & Conditions

  • We are open all year round. Weekly lets are available Friday to Friday only between end of March and end of September inclusive. Short breaks available (minimum of 4 nights) or alternative arrival/departure days depending on availability or as advertised from time to time. 
     

  • Booking: via Clovelly Torran Glas Facebook page or our webpage www.harrisholidaylet.co.uk or you can e-mail us direct @ enquiries@clovellytorranglas.co.uk 
     

  • Availability: Your booking will not be cancelled by Clovelly Torran Glas except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us. To improve the facilities within Clovelly Torran Glas we reserve the right to alter or amend the facilities made available. 
     

  • Deposit: A £200 non-refundable deposit payable at time of booking and the balance is payable in full 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Provisional bookings held for 2 days pending receipt of deposit. Bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival will be payable in full. 
     

  • Rental includes all linen and towels, free Netflix, free unlimited BT fibre broadband, electricity and fuel. 
     

  • Earliest arrival time 4pm on day of arrival and house must be vacated by no later than 10am on day of departure. 
     

  • Good Housekeeping Deposit: A deposit of £100 is required in case of any breakages or damages during your stay. Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice any damage then please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there have been any breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could replace them or advise us before you leave. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of replacements to damaged items from your deposit. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage found. If there are no damages then the Good Housekeeping Deposit will be refunded within 7 days from departure date. 
     

  • We shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance and will do our utmost to have any issues fixed. 
     

  • NO SMOKING IN OR AROUND THE COTTAGE DUE TO OIL AND GAS CYLINDERS. SHOULD THERE BE ANY SIGN OF SMOKING YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEIT AND A FURTHER CHARGE OF £250.00 MADE. 
     

  • 2 or less dogs welcome at a cost of £25 per pet, per week. 
     

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GARDEN IS NOT ENCLOSED AND WE THEREFORE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR ANY PETS THAT MAY ESCAPE FROM THE COTTAGE. 
     

  • Cancellations: If anyone is unable to take up their booking, cancellations should be notified as soon as possible and confirmed by email and phone call. Any payments made will be refunded in full if we re-let the property. If we are unable to re-let, the following charges will apply:- more than 8 weeks prior to arrival the deposit will be forfeit; less than 8 weeks prior to arrival full balance is payable. To minimise the cost and inconvenience of cancellations we recommend that you take out holiday insurance. Clovelly Torran Glas will not be responsible for any loss or damage or any injury to persons not caused through any fault of the proprietor. 
     

  • Adverse Travel Conditions: Where there are any ferry/plane disruptions due to bad weather conditions or any form of industrial action prior to arrival or upon departure, we cannot be held responsible for any non- arrival or non-departure to or from Clovelly Torran Glas, and no refunds will be given. 
     

  • Please remove all foodstuffs upon departure. 
     

  • Please note that in the event that any keys issued are not returned at the end of your stay, then the cost of any replacements will be charged to you & deducted from the Good Housekeeping Deposit. 
     

  • The cottage should be left clean and tidy on departure and any damages must be reported prior to departure. Property left in a dirty or inappropriate manner may result in additional cleaning surcharge being made 

    Clovelly Torran Glas is privately owned and is our home. We would like all our guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own house. 

    We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
